ATI is a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, Inc.Our great benefits, competitive pay, and exciting atmosphere are all key factors that help make ATI such a great place to work!Purpose: The Training Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, and record keeping in accordance with FAA regulations for all flight crew, contractor, and operational control employee training. The Training Scheduler also provides administrative support to Flight Operations and Flight Training departments.Job Functions: Creation, implementation, and refinement of the daily, monthly and yearly training schedule for flight crews, contractors, and operational control personnel in accordance with relevant FAR's and CBA's. Included but not limited to ground school, simulators, online training, line checks, medicals, and landings.
Input and maintain crew qualification records, file ongoing training records, draft monthly training reports, coordinate monthly training bids, maintain and coordinate vacancy upgrade bids, and forecast future training needs.
Document, communicate, and collaborate with Crew Scheduling, Crew Planning, Travel, Payroll, and other related departments to ensure Training objectives align with Company goals.
Effectively allocate resources to ensure cost effective training is conducted, deadlines are met, and all flight crews, contractors, and operational control personnel maintain currency, proficiency, proper qualifications, and FAR/CBA compliance.
Correspond with management, crewmembers, contractors, FAA, ALPA and other organizations as required.
Coordinate arrangements for training students and instructors including travel, facilities, catering, notifications, and recordkeeping.
Other duties as assigned including occasional non-traditional work hours.
Position Requirements: Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
1 year of full-time experience in Aviation Operations, Scheduling, Planning, or Training or work experience in equivalent roles.
Must have strong attention to detail, exceptional multitasking ability and must have the desire to
see projects through completion.
Must have sound judgment, financial acumen, analytical aptitude, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills, ability to multitask, and ability to balance multiple competing objectives.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with little direction but collaborate with internal and external parties.Preferred Job Skills: Associate Degree
Operational experience in the Sabre CrewQual and CrewTrac Program.
Prior airline operations experience.
Strong understanding of SABRE system products or equivalent compliance software systems.
Experience applying federal regulations and collective bargaining agreements.
Familiarity with aircraft performance, aviation weather, flight planning, and airport operations.
Extensive knowledge of FAR's as they pertain to crewmember flight duties and training regulations.Physical Requirements: Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
Light to moderate lifting is required.
Comply with ATI attendance requirements.
