PRIMARY FUNCTION

Troy 7, Inc. is seeking a Technical Intelligence Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), working with agency developmental and test program personnel and with the Intelligence Community (IC).  The engineer will coordinate across the agency and IC to analyze and obtain ballistic missile engineering data for threat development, testing, and modeling and simulations.  

The MDA Intelligence Division provides the conduit between the Intelligence Community (IC) and MDA for all intelligence-based technical information.  The division coordinates all MDA requirements with the responsible entities across the IC, such as NASIC, MSIC, ONI, and NGIC, for all threat disciplines including CAD, RCS, kinematics, IR hardbody and IR plume.  


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • 20 - Interface with internal MDA organizations and external agencies to produce, obtain technical data, briefings, reports and assessments
  • 5 - Develop IC Production Requirements (PRs) from MDA technical data requests in support of system model development and testing
  • 10 - A technical background with the ability to work individually and with multiple internal and external organizations is integral. The ability to understand advanced technical concepts and research system concepts of operations and parametric data to support model development and verification and validation efforts
  • 20 - Support threat modeling initiatives developing efficient consistent processes and technical solutions required to obtain IPC validated threat models for us e in MDA events
  • 20 - Support technical interchange meeting planning, execution, and management including agenda development, after action reports, action item multiple Lines of Effort (LOE) status tracking, and distributing documentation and data to various sites and participants
  • 10 - Execute SharePoint Content Management on multiple classified and unclassified networks. Control user permissions, notifications, and site management including creating and maintaining application pages, default preferences, and SharePoint user functionality. Keeping information on the sites organized and up-to-date, tasking and tracking actions, uploading documents, and notifying users of uploads
  • 15 - Other meeting support as needed with IC members, the MDS Operational Test Agency Team, and MDA personnel. Facilitate, participate, and report on meetings, conferences, symposia, and MDA and inter-agency working groups

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES


Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS: 

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Masters’ Degree in STEM field and 10 or more years of relevant experience  (Bachelor’s degree may be accepted depending upon relevant experience, knowledge, and experience)     
  • Familiarization with Modeling and Simulation (M&S) methods and tools  
  • Knowledge of Kinematic, RF, IR Plume, and/or IR Hardbody Signature Modeling
  • Experience using, building, or managing databases
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of MDA Model-Based Systems Engineering and/or MDA modeling processes
  • Familiar with Engineering V
  • Experience with large data/cloud environments and database administration
  • Experience with the Intelligence Community
