SynopsisThe Senior Ramp Agent is responsible for the supervising the team of staff involved in loading and unloading aircraft. To supervise the build-up/breakdown of aircraft ULDs ensure baggage/cargo/mail are processed in accordance with load Planning. To supervise the recording and dispatch of baggage/cargo/mail to respective flights. To perform loading/offloading functions on aircraft To adhere to safe practices in ramp activities To Operate Aircraft Loading and servicing equipment Ensure that safety briefing is conducted regularly Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environment management policies |
Ramp Agent is responsible for handling flights as allocated by the Ramp Supervisor or Duty Officer Execute and adhere to loading instructions issued by the load controller. Plan and coordinate with Operations Allocate duties to staff at aircraft side or in the cargo or baggage build up areas. And To supervise the functioning of the team as well as that of equipment operators allocated for the flight To operate equipment if required Direct and supervise aircraft loading/offloading. To ensure quick delivery of inbound/transfer baggage to arrival sorting/OTP as necessary. To coordinate with flight operation for non-scheduled flights (ADHOC ) / Extra flights |
- Good leadership Qualities
- Knowledge of IMS objectives –Quality, Environment, health and safety.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the aviation field related to baggage handling, loading and offloading.
- High School or Diploma
- Minimum SSC holder
- Can read and write English
