Responsibilities:
  • Leads and supervises those assigned to the crew during all the followingassigned job functions and masterfully performs as an A&P Mechanic.
  • Ensures that all work performed complies with applicable technical data,FAA regulations and client policies and procedures.
  • Works closely with immediate supervisor as well as Production ControlBooth
  • Coordinator to keep them informed on actual work progress in areas of responsibility.
  • Reviews non-preplanned documents to identify methods of repair and/orreplacement identifying necessary parts, materials and tooling requirements and provides timelyestimates for all maintenance on non-preplanned documents within scope of responsibility.
  • Ensures that all aircraft parts/components removed from an aircraft inwork, that are to be routed to Technical Services, aredocumented by a valid job number and that the work scope is properly identified.
  • Responsible for the proper execution of parts tags attached torepairable, serviceable, or condemned parts.
  • Signs appropriate work cards or forms per our client policies andprocedures.
  • Repairs, replaces and rebuilds aircraft structures such as wings andfuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing and hydraulicunits.
  • Reads and interprets manufacturers and airlines maintenance manuals,service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing orreplacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • Disassembles and inspects parts for wear, or other defects.
  • Repairs or replaces defective engine parts and reassembles and installsengine in aircraft.
  • Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraftaccessories.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft including, generalservicing cleaning, greasing, moving parts, and checkingbrakes.
  • Performs orientation and on-the-job training with employees. Ensuresthat training is documented in employee training records.
  • Enforces company policies and safety regulations and the proper use ofequipment and ensures that quality and safety standards are met.
  • Coordinates activities of workers including assigning work duties formaximum utilization of manpower and analyzing and resolving work problems.
  • Maintains communications within area of responsibility, informingemployees as to plans and progress and promoting teamwork and cooperation.
  • Tracks time spent on each work order and ensures the time is loggedcorrectly and within the budgets assigned adhering to policies and programs set in place to helpmanage this duty correctly.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines; attentionto detail and mathematical skills; ability to read, write, and understand theEnglish language and to follow verbal and written instruction; ability tointerpret and apply technical data relating to position; ability to safely drive and operate a standardshift automotive vehicle and other applicable equipment; ability to work with or without supervision.

Education/Training:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Education or training in aircraft maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training or experience required.

Requirements:
  • Airframe & Powerplant Licensepreferred.
  • 03 to 05 Years of experience inaircraft maintenance preferred, with prior supervisory experience.
