Position: A&P Mechanic - Englewood, CO
Only qualified candidates with the below experience will be considered for this position.
Job Description & Requirements:
Employee will be responsible performing all types of aircraft maintenance on both turbo prop and jet aircraft in the general aviation arena. Knowledge of piston, turboprop, and jet engines is required to accomplished troubleshooting, repair, and inspection. Some travel both domestic and international may be required to recover damaged aircraft or repair aircraft at the customer facility. Employee must be proficient in all aircraft manufacturers support manuals to allow complete research into required maintenance functions. Straight Flight is a very diverse facility that works on all types of aircraft from antique piston to large corporate jets.
Ideally require Dornier exp (model is 328 which would be a plus)
Will accept contractors but they must have Dornier exp
Will also review NON-LICENSED mechanics but must have Dornier exp
• Technical License - A&P preferred, Inspection Authorization (IA) rating is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience in general aviation and corporate aircraft is a requirement
• Knowledge of Pratt & Whitney PT-6A engines is a plus.
• Experience with electrical system troubleshooting - schematic reading
• Must have own hand tools to complete any maintenance function.
• Understanding of all aircraft manufacturers Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Structural Repair Manuals, Service Bulletins is a must.
• Excellent written and vocal skills, ability to communicate well.
• Experience with computerized maintenance manuals is a plus.
• No limitations on confined space entry and ability to lift 50 pounds
• Will be subject to drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
- 4 - day work week, Tuesday through Friday
- Dayshift 7AM to 5:30PM
