What You’ll Do:
- Perform machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication and extrusion, tube bending and fabrication tasks.
- Perform composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
- Assemble, repair, modify and install various power plants and drive trains.
- Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products.
- Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products.
- Prepare test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests.
- Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
- Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
- Work on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements.
What You’ll Need:
- Any painting experience (even house painting), preference for spray application, preference for hazardous waste experience
