Job Summary
The HR Shared Services Supervisor will lead our HR Shared Services team. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of HR services, ensuring efficient processes and exceptional support for employees. You will manage a team responsible for employee data management, service delivery, compliance, and process improvement, while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor HR Shared Services team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Employee Data Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of employee records in HR systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage the employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
HR Service Delivery:
- Act as the escalated point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure efficient resolution of employee issues through various communication channels (email, phone, HR portals).
- Escalate complex cases to HR Generalists, HRBPs as necessary.
- Deliver HR Metrics and reporting to measure/monitor effectiveness of Shared Services.
- Lead and manage HR process/policy change initiatives.
Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws to inform HR practices.
- Manage compliance law poster within each location – ensure compliance.
Process Improvement and Automation:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within HR Shared Services.
- Participate in the implementation of new HR systems and enhancements to existing platforms.
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for HR processes to ensure consistency and clarity.

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Human Services or related field preferred or equivalent of combination education and experience.
- Seven years recent experience in human resources management/payroll
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Leadership experience required; formal training strongly preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
