Bridger Aerospace is an aerial firefighting company based in Belgrade, Montana, located at the Bozeman Yellowstone Airport (KBZN). It was founded in 2014 to support front-line firefighters with world-leading technology and aerial fire suppression systems. We have grown from operating a single plane to commanding a significant Air Attack and the largest Super Scooper fleet in the U.S. in less than eight years. Bridger is a leader in fighting wildfires, specializing in Air Attack, Fire Suppression, and Aerial Fire-Mapping technologies. About the Role
Bridger Aerospace is seeking a full-time on-site IT Technician to join our high-tech, dynamic family. The Bridger Aerospace IT Technician would be responsible for providing IT support to the organization’s employees, computer systems, networks, and applications. This is a full-time position based at Bridger Aerospace HQ located in Belgrade, MT.
Reports to: Manager of Information Technology
What You’ll Do:
- Provide phone, remote, and onsite technical support to all Bridger Aerospace employees
- Respond to and resolve end user hardware and software issues in a timely manner
- Preparation, testing, and deployment of desktop and laptop IT hardware and software
- Utilize remote management tools from Microsoft and third-party vendors
- Manage user access and permissions using Entra ID/Azure AD and MS365 groups
- Implement defined administrative and technical policies
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in policies, procedures, and security controls
- Provision, deprovision, or modify user access to Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) applications
- Provision, deprovision, or modify user physical access through our badge access software
- Participate in configuration and troubleshooting of network devices, to include switches and access points
- Participate in configuration and troubleshooting of IOT devices, to include video conferencing
- Document work performed in the ticketing system of record (currently FreshService)
- Coordination of vendor support as required
- As defined by Management, review IT publications and online training materials and participate in, and/or maintain, specific IT Training or certifications
- Support internal and external audits through the collection and provision of requested evidence
- Brief users on their responsibilities with regards to information system security and train users on prescribed security restrictions and safeguards
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-4 years of progressive Help Desk/Desktop Support/Systems Administration professional experience desired, 5-7+ years preferred
- Hands-on experience managing users and computers in Microsoft Active Directory / Entra ID
- Proficiency with MS365 administration
- Professional IT Certifications desired: AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator, CompTIA A+, Network +, Security +
- Experience providing technical support in medium to large organizations with a large remote workforce component
- Printer and peripheral setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
