Tailwind Inspection was established in 1997. The company vision was to provide nondestructive testing services specifically targeted to the aircraft and aerospace industries. What began in a tiny 400 square foot office has blossomed into three locations totaling over 10000 square feet.
The inspection of aging aircraft and components has been a growing concern of Private, Corporate, Military, and the Air Carrier Industry for some time. Tailwind has concentrated on working with many of the aerospace manufacturers to obtain the highest degree of quality for the inspections required to maintain an airworthiness status of their products.
Our commitment to the quality and integrity of the inspections we perform is unsurpassed and shows in the caliber of the technicians we hire. Our technicians are trained in accordance with National Aerospace Standard NAS 410 and receive regular refresher training to keep up with ever changing technologies and equipment.
