Description:This Lockheed Martin EO Global Financial Services (LM GFS) position supports the Global Accounting Cost Monitoring and Compliance organization in Lakeland, Florida. The Global Accounting Cost Monitoring and Compliance team is responsible for expatriate cost accounting, manages international subsidiary indirect pool expenses, bank account reconciliations, and reviews accounting system controls.
Responsibilities also cover US Govt regulatory requirements and audit support for numerous LM subsidiaries including expatriate cost estimate support, Forward Priced Rate Submissions, Incurred Cost Proposals, Disclosure Statements, and DFARS Accounting System Assessments.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Preparation of required USG Government reports and submissions
- Audit support to LM business area partners relating to contract proposals and customer negotiations
- Camp+ control reviews and audits
- Coordinate premium, travel & relocation accounting and processes with accounting system, LM Vendors, program finance, and other Global Accounting teams
- General Ledger financial accounting, table validation/maintenance, and reconciliations
- Accounting for cash and foreign currencies
- Time Charging and Labor Accounting for expatriated employees including timekeeping system
and payroll support
- Review, analyze & trouble shoot accounting processes

The position is expected to successfully manage multiple & simultaneous assignments, deadlines, priorities and tasks. The position also requires the use of effective analysis techniques, to facilitate effective communication and coordination with team members, partners and customers in multiple time zones and countries. A level of independent organization and prioritization of responsibilities is expected.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s level degree in Accounting, Finance or other related Business Field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Minimum of 3 year experience in the following:
- Demonstrated senior level accounting and analytical skills confirmed through related work experience, including the support of financial accounting
- Demonstrated experience performing detailed analysis, interpreting data and developing compliant responses
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently as required
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully research and resolve complex accounting issues
- Experience with LMC compliant procedures and processes
- Demonstrated experience relating to US Govt finance/contract accounting and/or reporting
- Knowledge and application of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and applicable CAS and FAR statements
- Demonstrated ability to participate with multiple audit efforts
- SAP experience and advanced level proficiency with excel

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
