This position is to lead and execute critical business analysis and financial plans for the plant and business operations and for the manufacturing and marketing leaders of our business. The analysis must be accurate and timely with adequate options and sensitivity to drive key business and financial decisions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervises and coaches the development and prioritization of activities of a professional accounting and financial staff.
- Actively participates in establishing, executing and reporting progress against both tactical and strategic direction for the operation including financial and non-financial metrics.
- Develops monthly forecast and prepares annual operating plan for location.
- Provides financial direction, analysis and alternative for marketing on setting prices and driving the richest product mix for the location.
- Maintain financial and cost control systems to provide accurate and timely information.
- Develop BU-wide analytical tools for decision support – accountable for ROC Database and progression.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years finance/accounting experience
- Bachelors in finance or accounting
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- 10+ years of finance or accounting experience
