Business / Program Analyst **Work From Home + Travel**

Collect, analyze, and report on business and financial data for various projects and programs. Particular focus will be on building, maintaining, and analyzing budgets, contract compliance, and problem-solving. This activity will include generating program/project status, cost and schedule indicators, project schedule trends, critical path analysis, and performance optimizations.

• Develop and analyze weekly/monthly reports on business-related metrics.
• Identify/notify management of potential project or portfolio trends and risks.
• Assist management with systems acquisitions and risk mitigation.
• Provide technical writing/editing and communications support.
• Assist management in making program decisions based on cost-benefit analysis and schedule considerations.

The position is primarily work-from-home, with travel required 4-6 weeks of the year, one M-F week at a time. 

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and other hardware/software applications related to cost model creation and preparation.
• BA/BS in any discipline is preferred. Fifteen years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Experience in the aviation industry and/or energy sector is preferred.
• Must be located in Texas, Louisiana, Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC
