Primary Objective of the Position:
Under the general direction of the Director, Fuel & Commercial Planning, the chosen candidate will ensure Fuel Department functions such as: De-icing Landing etc. are completed in a timely manner and audit all Fuel/De-ice/Landing Vendor Invoices documents to ensure accuracy.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Fuel and De-icing inventory reconciliations and reporting.
- Responsible for Monthly Profit and Loss statement Fuel Revenue and Cost Management.
- Prepare monthly fuel forecast for Cargojet Network flights.
- Prepare weekly and monthly Fuel Cost Analysis Report
- Assist in external reporting functions on Fuel Excise Tax to Revenue Canada.
- Work with external audit agencies on quarterly and annual on Fuel Audits.
- Coordinate with Hamilton Tank Farm and Keep up the Fuel Inventory and Customer Inventory up-to date.
- Prepare Annual Budget for Hamilton Tank Farm.
- Responsible for all Fuel and De-icing and Landing Invoice process as a key member of the Fuel Department.
- Maintain Glycol Inventory at Hamilton Base.
- Other functions assigned by Director of Fuel & Commercial Planning
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a qualified CPA or working towards the designation.
- 2-4 years progressive Accounting experience.
- Strong computer skills including Excel, Power BI experience is an asset.
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
- Must be a quick learner, detail-oriented, organized, responsible & results-oriented.
- Able to work well in a team environment
