Overview

Create, issue, monitor and analyze purchase orders created for Technical Operations (Tech Ops). Resolve PO issues with Tech Ops & Accounts Payable. Ensure that the Companys purchasing power is properly leveraged to minimize material costs.

Responsibilities
  • Create Material Purchase Orders, including leveraging Company’s buying power to minimize material costs
  • Procures, sources and negotiates the buying of aircraft parts necessary for operation of an organization.
  • Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives.
  • Monitors performance of suppliers to ensure expected outcome.
  • Evaluates areas of opportunity to leverage material acquisitions.
  • Tracks data to keep informed on price trends and market dynamics.
  • Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers’ operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required
  • Resolve issues with Tech Ops and Accounts Payable regarding open purchase orders and orders received but not vouchered
  • Produce reports on vendor performance and use information to improve vendor performance
  • Create and Analyze Purchase Orders reports
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
  • 4-Year Degree strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in a purchasing role or environment preferred
  • Strong analytical skills as well as be proficient in MS Excel required
  • Airline and TRAX experience a plus.

Salary Range: $51,500- $69,000

Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset."
