Job Description:

Tasks

  • Professional and pro-active day to day contact with customers (via phone and email) in order to ensure timely payments
  • Identificating non-payment reasons and payment behavior analysis
  • Open items monitoring and classification
  • Working closely with customers and internal departments
  • Performing analysis, conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts
  • Preparing and sending documents and reports
  • Managing dunning process
  • Coordinating cash collection and customer inquiries
  • Following confidential data protection rules, internal guidelines and procedures
  • Working with accounting documents, processes data and vouchers 
  • Making sure that the accepted service level is maintained
  • Checking or obtaining necessary authorizations
  • Ensuring customer’s master data is up-to-date
  • Encouraging cooperation, teamwork and knowledge sharing
  • Cooperating with Process Managers and Architects to ensure process optimization and standardization
  • Independently handling incoming/outgoing communication in a second foreign language

* Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements

  • Master/Bachelor degree or at least accomplished 3rd year of studies in economic disciplines
  • At least 1 year of experience in accounting field, preferably AR/Cash Collection
  • Very good or fluent command of English and French (min B2 or higher level)
  • Good command of all Windows applications
  • Charted Accountant qualifications will be an asset
  • Any experience with ERP and accounting systems will be a strong plus
  • Any accounting experience in respective field (AR, Cash Collection) will be an asset
