An exciting opportunity has arisen within the ATR design office. The Engineering Integration and Program Chief Engineer Team is looking for a Validation & Verification (V&V) and Aircraft Integration & Test Specialist (V&V/AI&T) to be assigned to EVO project.

The department of “Engineering Integration & Program Chief Engineer” (EI) is responsible for:

• Chief Engineering
• Engineering Performance and Planning
• Future Projects and R&T
• Production support

Engineering Integration activities cover all Engineering activities at aircraft level or transverse and in particular, EI is fully responsible for Engineering integration activities (to perform trade-offs and to agree on a consolidated design solution), the Chief Engineer finally authorize the consolidated design solution at aircraft level.

The (V&V/AI&T) specialist, reporting to the Head of Engineering Integration and Program Chief Engineer and assigned to EVO project, will have the responsibility to manage all AC Level V&V activities, in close collaboration with the Center of Competencies Systems Specialists and other entities like Flight Tests & Program.

MISSION

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Is responsible for the respective work packages in terms of costs, schedule and performance

• Leads and is responsible for the V&V (incl. aircraft Integration & Test) activities having a transversal responsibility for managing the V&V performance through the overall program

• Leads identification/interpretation of potential internal Customer requirements for the aircraft

• Responsible for definition of the L0 validation and verification activities w.r.t. means and processes

• Prepares and harmonizes the overall requirements for the definition of the overall test facilities (ground and flight)

• Leads the definition of the Aircraft Integration & Test philosophy and means

• Contributes to the definition of specific tools and processes for the Program with regards to System Integration & Test (Level 0).

• Leads production and updating of the Specification with regards to System Integration & Test (Level 0).

• Leads and manages the Overall Design at aircraft level with regards to System Integration & Test (Level 0).

• Ensures the System Qualification/Certifications requirements fulfilment for System Engineering (Level 0).

• Leads Level 0 system development key processes with regards to System Integration & Test (Level 0).

• Leads Level 0 technical activities allocated with regards to System Integration & Test (Level 0).

• Participates in the Chief Engineering Meeting

Education
Degree in aeronautical engineering

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Languages
English mandatory, French and/or Italian would be a plus.
