WHAT WERE DOING
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Administrative Assistant to provide high-level support to director-level management and levels of management within our business area. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple tasks.

THE WORK
• The individual must possess excellent calendar management skills. Strong organizational and follow-on skills are a must in addition to software skills that include a proficient working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Responsibilities include coordinating international/ Domestic travel, preparing logistics for customer meetings (room reservation, catering, facility preparation, etc.), generating expense reports, ensuring director is prepared for meetings, supporting staff meetings and maintaining calendars, answering phones, and coordination of weekly Items of Importance (IOIs).

• Individual is required to work independently as well as in a team environment, multi-task, demonstrate excellent prioritization skills, and have excellent interpersonal skills. Overtime and schedule flexibility may be required to meet specific deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and working knowledge of SharePoint.

• Ability to work with minimal direction & company/team first attitude at all times.

• Excellent interpersonal skills/ability to interact with all levels of management, peers, government, and other industry personnel in a proficient, courteous, discrete and professional manner.

• Well organized with flexibility and ability to effectively balance the handling of multiple assignments and tasks.

• Determines priorities of non-routine situations and will participate and lead miscellaneous projects or initiatives as needed, including providing support to the department staff.

• Candidate must have willingness to assume increasing levels of responsibilities and have a strong desire for professional continued self-improvement, a professional demeanor and well-spoken
Desired Skills:
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage work flow to achieve maximum productivity.

• Five years of administrative experience, prior executive secretary experience preferred.

• Self-reliant, and show initiative and good judgment. Ability to anticipate requirements of business leaders. Flexible with the ability to multitask.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
