Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess one year specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level of FV-H/Level III or the equivalent FG/GS-12. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is: Ability to perform the operation with the installation, maintenance, modification, repair, troubleshooting, flight check and certification of AUTOMATION systems and computer related services; Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System, Automated Radar Terminal System, Direct Access Radar Channel, En Route AutomationModernization, Oceanic Display and Planning System. Generally, experience at the next lower level, Pay Band H/level III or equivalent, meets the minimum qualifications for this position as long as the experience supports the Demonstrated Abilities identified in this announcement.

This position is covered by the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. Any applicant tentatively selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment or pre-appointment drug screening. Persons occupying a "testing designated position (TDP)" will be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing.
