Job Objective


The Assistant Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Senior Customer Service Coordinator with answering customers questions, providing customers with information about parts and services, and processing returns.


Essential Functions

  • Create Sales Orders from customer purchase orders
  • Field customer parts inquiries
  • Provide proper documentation for Metro-produced parts for installation
  • Monitor/manage core returns to vendors
  • Monitor/manage parts repairs
  • Provide proper documentation for repairs and core returns (Log cards, 8130’s, etc.)
Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSA)

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong clerical, math, and organization skills
  • Excellent people skills, including customer service
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license

Physical Demands

  • Walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, kneeling
  • Climbing heights on various equipment
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds

Work Environment

  • Air-controlled stock room
  • Occasional outdoor environment with potential extreme cold and hot temperatures
  • Exposure to hazardous chemicals is possible
  • Moderate noise level at times

Work Status, Schedule, & Travel

  • Full-time
  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
  • No travel required
