Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic Space Launch Systems (SLS) team in Huntsville, Alabama.

Position Responsibilities:

• Measures key performance indicators.
• Extracts and analyzes data from multiple sources.
• Prepares reports.
• Reviews procurement/planning systems.
• Reviews schedules, creates plans and/or policies for execution of procurement activities.
• Coordinates schedule changes with procurement for contractual changes to purchase orders and supplier incorporation.
• Documents and participates in the implementation of lean improvements.
• Communicates project objectives and activities.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• More than 1 year of experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• More than 1 year of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.
• More than 1 year of experience with COGNOS.
• More than 1 year of experience in a role that required articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via PowerPoint presentations to various audience including senior management.
• More than 1 year of experience in building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership.
• More than 1 year of experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions.
• More than 1 year of experience supporting internal customers.

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10 of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $63,750 - $78,750
