Boeing’s C-17 Transport Tools and Technologies Team, in Warner Robins, GA is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join their team. This role assists C-17 technical publication group with system environmental testing and modification, engagement in workflow tickets between internal and external team members to better improve processes and products, problem solve and troubleshoot software and server items, and engage with vendor engineering to implement long-term solutions.

You will work with many different software and sever components to ensure the C-17 technical data teams have the necessary tools at-the-ready to execute requirements in order to produce and sustain multiple technical publication products in timely and repetitive manner. This will require interfacing with teams across the country, knowledge in server and OS administration, programming skills, the ability to organize and prioritize workload, work with and lean on others to perform and excel.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Researches and performs basic analysis of processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design

  • Assists customers to clarify basic requirements

  • Interprets and translates routine requirements into functional specifications

  • Assists in the development and execution of moderately complex tests to validate system functionality against specifications

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with database content management and database querying languages

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies

  • Experience in all aspects of Windows Desktop administration (e.g. application and services, troubleshooting, application configuration, networking, user accounts, Active Directory and/or security)

  • Experience with modern programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Visual Basic

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science

  • Systems administration certification

  • Experience using and deploying applications to cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Microsoft Azure

  • Understanding of Agile Software Development using tools like ADO, GitLab, or JIRA

  • Experience with database backend development with Oracle and/or MS SQL Server

  • Knowledge of data structures, system designs, and algorithms

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range: $70,550 – $95,450
