Job Title: Aviation Datalink Specialist

Job Description

The Datalink Support Specialist collaborates with a dedicated team to establish aircraft datalink services and manage training, setup/configuration, user-side troubleshooting, and other product support tasks for both new and existing business aviation customers.

Responsibilities

• Initiate contact with new customers for service setup, training, and aircraft configuration.
• Provide service and troubleshooting for various Avionics equipment.
• Communicate regularly via telephone, email, and in-person with existing customers regarding service enhancements, training, and changes.
• Create and maintain user guides.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on understanding aircraft management and operations.
• Strong customer service and support skills, including direct communication with clients in-person, via phone, and through virtual/email messaging.
• Proficiency in satcom, satellite communications, aircraft datalink, and avionics.
• Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge (BC or Passport, valid DL).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pilots license or experience as a Pilot is preferred due to understanding of datalink products.
• Experience as a Line Service supervisor/manager, FBO Customer Service supervisor/manager, or Flight department/Charter coordinator/supervisor/manager.
• Experience with satellite communications systems/products.

Work Environment

Work Monday through Friday during regular daytime hours at Boeing Field, Seattle, in the SkyService buildings. Join a 5-person team that works together to solve problems and ensure coverage when needed. Occasionally, you may need to provide training to customers in different time zones, with team support available to manage such situations.

This is a Permanent position based out of Seattle, WA.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Seattle,WA.
