The role we are offering you:

By joining our team, you will have opportunity to work in the deployment team.

Are you ready to:

  • Analyze the projects requirements and prepare the simulator configuration.

  • Perform SW-HW integration on various systems and aircraft types in parallel.

  • Responsible for the systems readiness for acceptances.

  • Technical support during acceptances and qualification of deployed projects.

  • Identify/fix HW and SW problems interacting with appropriate engineers/technicians.

  • Interact with customers, aircrews and engineers from all CAE departments.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Good knowledge in aerodynamics, flight dynamics and control theory.

  • Good H/W and S/W troubleshooting capabilities.

  • Knowledge of C programming language in Linux and Windows environment. FORTRAN an asset.

  • Experience on various simulator performance systems (Flight, Flight Control, Motion, Sound, Engines) is an asset.

  • Knowledge of aircraft systems is an asset.

  • Demonstrate strong project ownership, and ability to work unsupervised.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Pro-active, flexible, team player.

  • Availability to travel to various locations for on-site work.

  • Knowledge of CAEs simulation technologies an asset.

  • It is an asset to be bilingual.

Preferred Education

  • Pursuing university degree in in Aerospace or Mechanical or related.

Location of the internship is CAE Montreal.

Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
