Job Description SummaryResponsible for the successful fulfilment of the CFM and/or LEAP shop visits within the GEESM shop as it relates to contract requirements including, but not limited to quality, cost and turnaround time (TAT). Customer Operation Specialist (COS) will be tasked with commercial and operational responsibility for assigned customers.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily coordination of fulfillment issues related to Customer Service Agreements, Time and Material, Component Repair and Accessory shops. Work closely with the shop to resolve issues, represent customers in production meetings, and communicate status to the customer. Review business options for impacts on profit, for compliance with contracts, policies, and procedures, and for innovative ways to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Complete customer and internal paperwork. Coordinate shop and/or program reviews and customer visits at the site as necessary.
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • This role requires advanced experience in the Services & Customer Operations.
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace).
  • ​Preferably 4 years of experience in similar industry.
  • Relevant experience in the services and customer operations.
  • Experience in Aviation or with Gas Turbine will be an added advantage.
