Distribution Cost Specialist

Reports to: Assistant Manager Global Distribution System Management

The incumbent will be responsible for performing Shopping & Booking cost (i.e. GDS, IBE, NDC, PSS) control and budgeting, analysis and invoice audits to minimise cost spent. He / She will also support Cost of Sale management and drive areas of improvement.

• Monitor Shopping & Booking cost (i.e. GDS, IBE, NDC, PSS) data accuracy on monthly basis for cost account budget.
• Develop and maintain Shopping & Booking cost data model for supporting cost of sales report and costs measurement & analysis in order to drive area of improvement.
• Manage billing data (BIDT) development with vendor and IMT via change implementation and process automation.
• Conduct invoice audit to validate rebate performance, and issue claims in accordance to invoice errors.

• University graduate in business or relevant areas
• Good understanding of Global Distribution System (GDS) charges and contracts, and other shopping & booking cost (i.e. IBE, NDC and PSS).
• Strong analytical skills, especially in Excel. Good skills in data tools such as Altreyx, Qilksense and Tableau is a plus
• Detail-minded, sensitive to numbers and possess good problem solving skills.
• Good commercial sense.
• Able to work independently.
