Notes:

The Boeing Company is looking for an Entry Level Industrial Security Specialist to join our team in Kent, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • This position will be predominantly used for escorting personnel that are not cleared to enter areas on their own, working in construction areas and monitoring personnel in those construction areas.
  • Maintains a schedule that can be shared with program leadership.
  • Work with teammates to ensure the task is completed and the areas are secure.
  • Assist customers with security related issues.
  • Provides administrative support (e.g., computer skills, scheduling and filing) to Internal Security Controls, Administrative Inquiries and Communication Security and completes tasks.
  • Provides administrative support in the protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information.
  • Provides administrative support for the personnel security program.
  • Provides administrative support for the security awareness, training and education program.
  • Provides administrative support for the physical security program.
  • Provides administrative support for subcontractor management.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in Industrial Security
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products Excel, Access, and Word
  • Physical ability to escort guests through a construction zone

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years related work experience).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
