The F135 Sustainment Data Management and Analytics (SDMA) organization supports the Sustainment contracts for the F135 engine which powers the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. An opportunity has arisen within the group for a new member of the Fleet Data Management (FDM) PAIR Team which focuses on supporting the customer by providing the data required to track the scheduled maintenance of the F135 propulsion components.
A PAIR data analyst is responsible for supporting the unit level scheduled maintenance requirements for the F135 propulsion system. The management of these tasks has a major impact on the safety of the fleet by ensuring critical maintenance actions are taken on the appropriate hardware at the right time. Persons within this role gain an advanced knowledge of the maintenance requirements, the flow of usage and task completion information throughout the enterprise, and the impacts to part tracking as actions are completed within the fleet and at depot.
Using this knowledge, you will work with other dedicated professionals both within and outside the group to manage the complex tracking requirements and be encouraged to find opportunities for improvements to the processes and tools used to do so.
What You Will Do:
- Create new or revise scheduled tasks within the PW maintenance management system of record (Maintenix)
- Analyze modules going through depot for the impact on task time remaining based on the work scope performed
- Investigate and respond to propulsion tracking related issues identified by the customers via the Action Request (AR) process
- Monitor and evaluate fleet tracking risks related to required propulsion maintenance
- Support continuous improvement efforts by participating in or managing small to medium-sized projects designed to address weaknesses or risks within the current processes
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- A Minimum of 5 years of experience as an advanced user or technical support role for a maintenance or logistics application, for example: Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Maintenix, Maximo), Enterprise Resource Management Systems (SAP, JDE), Configuration Management Systems (Team Center)
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Bachelors in Science, or Bachelors of Logistics, Operations or related degree
- Experience using analytical skills to drive business results (i.e. developing or monitoring Key Performance Indicators or tools to do so)
- Program and transformation management experience (e.g., CORE execution, ACE certification, Six Sigma, etc.
- Database or programming skills (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.)

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
