Description:Support Property Management and Salvage areas by performing all duties required to receive, ship, load/unload, store, and issue property. Perform a variety of material handling duties to include, but not limited to shipping, receiving, loading and unloading property stored by Property Management. Receive, store, issue, and disposition a variety of materials and equipment such as parts, tools, hardware, purchased assemblies, etc. Unload
and unpack, count incoming items, check against receiver for accuracy of shipment, record pertinent recording data (such as serial numbers, part numbers etc.) and store in proper place. Required to use a personal computer (PC) and applicable software system(s) for verifying the status and location of parts.
Prepare and complete proper documentation and assist in maintaining inventory database system(s) for property stored by Property Management.
Follow-up on incoming property. Prepare for reuse, sale, or disposal of all salvageable or waste material. Take inventory of stock, check and correct any discrepancies. Required to operate all lifting and loading equipment
with occasional use of hand/power tools and saws.
Clean, package and preserve material and
equipment. May be required to handle hazardous and electro-static discharge (ESD) materials. Use required equipment to prepare property for storage, disposition and salvage, to include but not limited to inventory database(s), scanners, barcode readers, and other computer based software. Occasionally rearrange materials and equipment in racks, bins,
shelves, to facilitate efficient storage of materials and equipment. Assist other labor grade 6 employees when needed. Keep own work area clean and orderly. Refer unusual problems to lead man and/or supervisor. Equivalent to a high school degree and six to twelve months’ experience required.
Procedural inventory for Government property will be conducted by Property Specialist(s) in Dallas.
Inventory by exception (e.g. calibration, movement) and other types of inventory (e.g. customer driven) may be used in lieu or to supplement procedural inventories.
Responsible for certain functions of disposition,
maintenance, inventory, storage, movement, records, receiving, and identification of property stored by Property Management. Additional salvage yard duties may require dumping of scrap barrels, scheduling and loading of scrap trucks, redeployment of assets, coordination of deliveries with movers, performance maintenance on coolant trench, locate material safety data sheets and attach to controlled and sensitive items, assist in surplus sales and sales pick-ups and deliveries, etc.
May be required to handle explosives and hazardous material. Maintain effective liaison with Engineering, Logistics, Operations, Facilities, and all other organizations as required. Originate and maintain records and logs as appropriate. Use various software systems and/or programs to locate and follow up on all parts, materials and equipment. Assist other labor grade 4 and 6 employees when needed. Keep own work area clean and orderly.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, non-climate controlled warehouse
• Ability to lift, pull, push 35 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
• Forklift experience with ability to safely maneuver in very tight high traffic areas

• Ability to determine the difference in Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Copper, Titanium and Mixed Metals
• Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment, machine shop knowledge
• General warehouse experience
• Prior experience utilizing inventory management software

• Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
