Position Summary

Supports Human Capital by assisting with general administration regarding benefits, time and attendance, talent acquisition, workers compensation, HR Information System entry, training and development, legal compliance, and other human resources issues.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1

Verify time and attendance information, time adjustments, and post information into designated employee records. Review time sheets to detect and reconcile payroll and attendance tracking discrepancies.

Maintain records of employee-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves of absence, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and electronic form to ensure all employment requirements are met.

Prepare employee files and employee identification badges.

Verify and provide routine audit of I-9 documentation for compliance.

Liaise with other departments or functions (Payroll, Benefits, Workers Compensation, etc.).

Support the recruitment process by greeting candidates, prescreening, performing pre-employment checks, issuing offer letters, etc.

Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.

Assist the Workforce Planner regarding absentee; track and report to leadership on a daily basis

Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc.

File, sort, process, retrieve, and distribute routine documents and mail.

Compile statistical reports, statements, and summaries.

Maintain Front Desk and Executive calendars.

13

Greet guests and visitors and answer phones at the front desk.

14

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Bachelors degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required

Languages

Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Spanish a plus

Previous Experience

One (1) to five (5) years of human resource experience, focused on time and attendance, payroll, benefits administration or workers compensation

x

Technical Skills

Strong ability in using MS Office Word, PowerPoint, databases and HRIS (e.g. UKG/UltiPro). Advanced level skill in Excel is preferred

x

Required Skills

Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.

x

Must have problem solving and critical thinking skills.

x

High sense of urgency and efficiency, detail oriented, organization, multi-tasking and customer service skills are necessary to perform in the position.

x

Strong communication (oral/written) and teamwork skills are also a must

x
