This position is accountable for providing administrative support to the Human Resource office in a fast-paced manufacturing plant environment. The HR Administrator carries out responsibilities for all administration of human resource programs including but not limited to the following:


JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Partner with HR Generalist on new hire onboarding process by ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and managing timely access to email and systems/software.
  • Assists and lead coordination of engagement activities and programs
  • Assist HR Management and staff by performing administrative duties in various areas of HR.
  • Enter and maintain accurate employee information in Company HR information system (HRIS) including new hires, terminations, employment changes, etc.
  • Answer primarily routine questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Help coordinate performance review through following up with HR Management as required.
  • Assist with annual Open Enrollment Process and New Hire Training
  • Process new hires, terminations and assist with posting new job requisitions etc.
  • Assist with any follow up with employees and management as it relates to unapproved time, entry or paid time off (PTO).
  • Create regular reports tracking the total hours worked and overtime.
  • Coordinate terminations and other processes with other departments including notifying IT of terminations or status changes.
  • Assist in temporary employee process.
  • Other HR related duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFCATIONS:

  • A general knowledge of Human Resources principles.
  • Excellent ability to network, collaborate, and bring people together
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office related software.
  • Excellent people skills with the proven ability to motivate team members.
  • Strong analytic skills with an ability to analyze complex situations.
  • An ability to quickly adapt to change/changing situations.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, or related field preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of administrative experience, with a focus on HR support.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good understanding/knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Experience with administering employee benefit plans in the health and welfare areas.

      REQUIRED SKILLS:

      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
      • Experience with HRIS systems and software, such as ADP and Workday preferred.
      • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
      • Ability to work in a team environment in a manufacturing site.
      • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
      • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

      For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.00 to $31.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company’s bonus multiple, based on the Company’s performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 96 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company&39;s medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
