FEAM Aircraft Maintenance/Engineering is currently seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team in Miami, FL, US. We pride ourselves on consistently exceeding our customers’ expectations and creating lifelong relationships with our clientele.

Job Description: 

The HR Coordinator will report to the Director of HR. He/ She will be an individual who is efficient and can multi-task while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver, and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

Job Duties:

 

  • Manage onboarding for new hires across all stations.
  • Oversee terminations across all stations.
  • Route HR-related calls.
  • Handle undeliverable mail.
  • Manage Verification of Employment (VOE) processes for all stations.
  • Address Paylocity issues.
  • Upload employee files to the HRIS System.
  • Ensure all new hires completion of all HR training.
  • Process Tax Credit 8850 Forms.
  • Review and manage exit interview reminders.
  • Administer employee referral bonuses.
  • Oversee contractor conversions across all stations.
  • Serve as a backup for the Office Coordinator and HR Coordinator.
  • Send weekly new hire spreadsheets for all stations.
  • Update employee job codes.
  • Request new hire uniforms for all stations.
  • Manage contractor timesheets.
  • Handle employee reclassifications across all stations.
  • Track sign-on bonuses.
  • Maintains employee files and database. 
  • Schedules and coordinates new employee orientations. 
  • Assists with the communication of benefit programs changes and updates. 
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management. 
  • Acts as a Liaison between MDAD & CBP. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with HRIS Systems, Word, and Excel. 
  • Must have two years of related experience.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong people skills. 
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. 
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
