We offer an exciting opportunity to join our IT Department at our Belfast site.
Responsibilities
Principal accountabilities:
- Responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of any work package that has been assigned to the individual
- Analysis, development, testing and deployment of software to Spirit AeroSystems standards
- Writing user and technical documentation
- Defect analysis and correction
- Support of applications using IT Service Desk procedures (Service Now)
- Interaction with key business users to define requirements
- Participation in group projects
- Provision of on-call support when required, according to standard IT agreements
Qualifications
Candidate Requirements

Essential:
- Programming capabilities and experience
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an I.T. business support role or Engineering function AND have a minimum of a bachelors degree in an I.T. or Engineering related discipline or a discipline with significant I.T. content. Candidates with lesser qualifications who have an additional 2 years’ relevant experience will be considered.
- Ability and willingness to develop programming capability for bespoke/legacy applications (e.g.VMS/DCL, Rapidgen)
- Experience in in analyzing IT business processes and defining requirements.
- Strong self-motivation with good interpersonal and relationship building.
Desirable:
- 2 + years’ experience in Manufacturing Business Processes (e.g. Shop Floor Execution, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Supply Chain)
- Programming capabilities in:
- .Net/C
