Emergency Airlift is a long-range, International Air Ambulance company that owns and operates multiple Falcon 50’s. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Business Development Director to join our team and drive our growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand air ambulance services.
- Develop a proactive Hospital/Hospital network book of business, with potential to expand into other markets.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth areas and enhance services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, medical facilities, insurance providers, and government agencies.
- Implement sales strategies to achieve annual goals and drive revenue growth.
- Lead the sales team, motivating and guiding them to meet targets.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
Sales Forecasting, Reporting, and Management:
- Generate accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to provide insights into performance and market trends.
- Present sales updates to the executive team, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
- Regularly update the executive team on new opportunities.
- Establish and assess performance metrics, updating goals as needed.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to the growing sales team.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns promptly, collaborating with the operations team to deliver exceptional service.
- Focus on developing new business relationships with hospitals and hospital networks nationwide.
Travel Requirements:
- Frequent travel to cultivate new client relationships and attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Set strategic direction for engaging outside counsel and defining their scope of work.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Advanced education
- Proven track record of 3-5 years in business development, preferably within the healthcare, aviation, or medical transportation industries.
- Well-established connections with hospitals and hospital networks.
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and customer behavior.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing conditions to generate effective solutions.
