The Industrial Engineering team within Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking multiple Methods Process Analyst (Associate, Experienced or Senior) to join our growing team located in either Everett, Renton, Seattle, or Auburn, Washington, USA.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have the unique opportunity to design, stabilize, improve, and transform production systems and processes to achieve world class operational excellence for some of the world’s most sophisticated aircraft and systems. Our Methods Process Analysts will focus on production stability, implementing lean methodologies, assessing and performing to rate readiness requirements, as well as improving quality through root cause analysis. Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be a self-starter as well as a collaborative team player. Our business units allow you to learn all aspects of the Aerospace Manufacturing world allowing you to explore and learn the production build processes from supply chain production readiness through fabrication of raw materials, assembly and installation, and supporting deliveries to our customers around the world.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts analysis of current and future business environment using established guidelines.

  • Develops forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans.

  • Develops and maintains basic Business System factory definition to be used for manufacturing planning.

  • Contributes to the development of labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages.

  • Monitors performance to established labor hour estimates.

  • Assists in the development of integrated tool and production master schedules by developing tool and position plan/documents, tool downtimes, rate flow plans, 1 flows, and tool sequencing plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment, material and personnel.

  • Assists in the identification and implementation of improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives.

  • Analyzes changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events.

  • Assesses the impact of the changes that occur to cost, schedule, resources, and delivery.

  • Develops modifications to existing plans and obtain approval.

  • Participates in negotiations representing Production and Tooling Operations to support schedule commitments or statement of work impacts.

  • Develops, implements, maintains, and statuses complex integrated shop operating plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to reduce inventory and meet cost and schedule commitments.

  • Gathers and analyzes shop performance metrics in order to support a recommend plan of action for Production and Tooling Management.

Work Authorization:

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business related curriculum such as: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics or Math

  • 1 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing and/or production environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 1 or more years of experience working in a team environment.

  • 1 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles

  • 1 or more years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.

  • Experience developing metrics to drive results and business improvements.

  • Experience in Project Management

  • Proficient in structured problem solving.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products

  • Strong analytical skills.

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years of related work experience, 7 years of related work experience, etc.).

Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years of related work experience, 10 years of related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years of related work experience, 14 years of related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range:

Associate (Level 2): $66,300 – $89,700

Experienced (Level 3): $85,000 – $115,000

Senior (Level 4): $100,300 – $135,700
