Boeing Commercial Airplanes is currently hiring for the position of Methods Process Analyst (Level 3, 4, or 5) to join our Digital Transformation organization based in Everett, Washington. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of our upcoming Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) system.

Our Teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced, Senior, and Lead Methods Process Analysts.

Position Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will utilize Boeing production knowledge and business acumen to partner with cross functional teams from Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supplier Management, Materials Management, and Program Management to achieve organizational business goals and objectives. 
  • This role is responsible for translating business requirements to members of the IT/software development teams and support the both the development and management of the front-end system in the production environment used by Industrial Engineers and Methods Process Analysts across Boeing Commercial Airplane Fabrication and Assembly and Installation sites.
  • This Business Configurator role requires understanding and integration of the behind-the-scenes processes and screens to enable troubleshooting and analysis of the EMOM production system. 
  • The candidate will be responsible for configuring Quintiq, including maintaining tables in the application and managing and monitoring the application to assure issues are identified and corrected as they occur through problem solving techniques. 
  • Responsibilities will also include implementing the Quintiq application with training and configuration. 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Analyzes the current and future business environment and develop forecast, acquisition, and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans.
  • Develops and maintains complex Business System factory definition to be used for manufacturing planning throughout all phases of product lifecycle, resulting in a robust product design and work statement that meets Digital Transformation requirements.
  • Manages, defines, negotiates, and controls the scope, cost, and timing of projects, and performs risk analysis using project management tools (e.g., work break-down structure, precedence network, and resource allocation). Assesses the impact of the changes that occur to cost, schedule, resources, and delivery.
  • Supports Communication and collaboration with business partners. Supports means of production and deployment (i.e. upgrades, testing, etc.). Delivers simple/routine decision support visualizations and reports, dashboards and/or metrics.
  • Analyzes data elements and business rules applicable to the business requirements and offers options for simple Digital Transformation information model solutions that satisfy the customer’s needs.
  • Supports analysis to identify and understand an issue or event. Utilizes best practices to improve productivity through automation and standardization.

Work Authorization Statement:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business related curriculum such as: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics or Math
  • 3+ years of experience in Methods Process Analyst Functional Skill
  • 3+ years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing and/or production environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • 5+ years of Boeing Methods Process Analyst experience
  • Ability to travel locally 10 of the time.
  • Experience developing functional processes and standards
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Understanding of Industrial Engineering / Methods Process Analyst tools and how they integrate into shop systems.
  • Ability to successfully work well with others in a cross functional team.
  • Experience in collaboration between functional users and IT/development team
  • Experience in system administration such as generating user interface prototypes (mock-ups), performing user acceptance testing, maintaining system parameters and tables, configuring settings and generating expressions to align with business processes, software troubleshooting with business centric issues, etc.
  • Experience as course instructor (computing classes preferred)
  • 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Senior)
  • 14 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Lead)

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years of related work experience, 10 years of related work experience, etc.).
  • Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years of related work experience, 14 years of related work experience, etc.).
  • Lead (Level 5): Bachelors degree and typically 14 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 12 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay Range Summary:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range:

Experienced (Level 3): $85,000 - $115,000

Senior (Level 4): $100,300 - $135,700

Lead (Level 5): $128,350 - $173,650
