As a System Administrator with our N-MRO team partnering with our customer, you will wear many hats, system admin duties, on-site Tier 2 support, and overall communications directly from the customer to the program. N-MRO Administrators are the first point of contact for customer inquiries, field any questions and/or concerns, and troubleshoot any reported problems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Interacting daily with users aiding on the ALIS product suite
- System/account maintenance
- Regular monitoring of N-MRO software for availability and performance
- Troubleshooting and account maintenance
- Backups, restores, and disaster recovery of systems/databases/network equipment
- Supporting Limited Deployment of system-wide software, allocating mass storage space
- Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier 2, Tier 3, and engineers
- Training N-MRO Administrators and users on the N-MRO system as needed
- Reviewing processes/procedures, collecting system operational data for analysis
- Account set up.
Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies

***Candidates should be advised: This position directly supports a Naval deployable unit. Employees in this role may be required to deploy with the customer on peacetime and wartime military operations for defined and potentially undefined durations. They may be required to obtain and maintain customer-required deployment readiness qualifications leading to potential deployments. ***
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA) within 60 days of hire.

- IT experience in any combination of system/database/network administration

- Capable of working various shift hours, including weekends, to support customer mission requirements

Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases, and network equipment

Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware)

Maintaining/upgrading system hardware and startup/shutdown of rack components

Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates.

Installing Oracle Critical Patches, reviewing tables and DBA views for issues, and locating user session data

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
