Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2024 Summer Intern - Operations Analyst. In this role, you will apply advance analytical skills along with other industrial engineering skills and analyses to help turn an array of raw data into actionable information for use in making sound business decisions and help the Build Teams focus on ways to increase their efficiencies and quality, and lower the cost of our products. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of analytics tools (Tableau, Excel, Python, R, etc.), discrete event simulation modeling, manufacturing concepts, Industrial Engineering concepts, and gathering/analyzing data for presentations to leadership.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience with analytics tools (Tableau, Excel, Python, R, etc.)

Desired Skills:
• Experience with advanced and predictive analytical solutions from a variety of systems and sources.
• Experience with Statistical Analysis (Regression Analysis)
• Experience with discrete event simulation modeling.
• Knowledge of manufacturing concepts of part manufacturing and assembly.
• Knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts and tools.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
