Description:Lockheed Martins Missiles and Fire Control team is seeking
a Positioning-to-Win Analyst, Sr. Staff to join the team. This position is for an experienced Competitive Intelligence / Position To Win (CI/PTW) analyst who can work with various types of technology, product offerings, contract types and customers to determine price and non-price targets the company should bid in order to win a competitive opportunity.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Experience in proposal development, capture team, and competitive intelligence collection and assessment
  • Knowledge of the entire capture cycle and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Reprioritize tasks based on new opportunities
  • Present concise analysis and recommendations to capture team members and senior leadership in an articulate and effective manner.
  • Demonstrate excellent team and communication skills.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of customer buying patterns, competitor bid tendencies, competitor technical/business strategies, and capabilities and the resulting impact on pricing.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of current technology, engineering disciplines, and analysis of competitor bidding and pricing strategies.
  • Plan and implement competitive intelligence and cost modeling.

In addition to the primary duties, the CI/PTW analyst will support Black Hat reviews, Customer Value Proposition Workshops and will provide proposal team support when needed.

For a level 5, we typically look for a Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
