OnsiteThe Military Avionics and Helicopters (MA&H) Subcontracts organization, part of Collins Aerospace Avionics business unit, is searching for a Subcontract Administrator to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is your opportunity to become part of an organization that supports exciting military airborne programs and product line building block development. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated cross functional team managing some of Collins Aerospace’s most innovative domestic and international suppliers. The function of this position is to support the activities between Collins Aerospace Subcontract Program Managers and subcontractors/suppliers during the life cycle of a product/program/new initiative or co-production of products while ensuring compliance with company/government policies and procedures. This role provides a great career progression path toward subcontract program management, and other related career paths, as it provides diverse opportunities interfacing with the many different functional areas of Collins Aerospace. What You Will Do:
- Provide subcontract management support for domestic and international programs;
- Data compilation and reporting;
- Prepare initial deal summary packages for management review and approval;
- Work with Accounts Payable to facilitate supplier payment and invoice adjustment;
- Manage Repair/Upgrade/Retrofit Activities;
- Develop and Manage Internal and Supplier Relationships;
- Work with a cross functional team in the identification and qualification of suppliers;
- Assist in the preparation of requests for quotation/proposal and review supplier proposals for compliance to requirements;
- Support bid and proposal activities;
- Develop solutions to complex problems which require ingenuity, creativity, and innovation;
- Monitor subcontract performance for conformance to contract scope of work, schedule and cost;
- Work with Subcontract Program Managers and Buyers assigned to support multiple program efforts ;
Qualifications You Must Have:
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain or subcontracts
Preferred Qualifications:
- This position requires demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting objectives and satisfying customer requirements.
- SAP proficiency required.
- Experience with USG contracts and procurement compliance.
- Experience working with cross functional teams.
- Proficient with all MS Office products.
- Understanding and experience with Collins Management System structure

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
