Description:We are looking for someone who loves working on proposal graphics! This job combines creativity and technology to create visually communicative graphics that convey ideas, mood, information and vision in support of competitive proposals. The art can be very technical and complex in nature, so an interest in translating technical information, and an attention to detail are a must. Also a must is an effective knowledge, experience, and understanding of Microsoft and Adobe tools to produce and integrate graphics.

The successful candidate will translate facts and features of the subject material into cost-effective graphics that convey ideas and information in support of winning new business.

May create graphic presentations (that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions).

The role includes responsibility and/or input on reproduction and printing processes through in-house resources or outside vendors to ensure quality standards comply with clients/printer technical specifications.

Work samples are required to be shared prior to the interview: Should demonstrate solid technical graphic design capabilities, understanding color, fonts, visual emphasis and print design, and an understanding of Microsoft and Adobe software.

This position may require occasional travel.
This position may require occasional overtime to meet customer deadlines.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with proposal graphics integration to include workflow, software, and best practices.

Experience with Microsoft Office to include Power Point and Word.

Experience with translating complex graphical ideas and converting them to simple, readable, graphics.

Experience working with and communicating with a team.

Experience communicating with customers to understand and meet their needs.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in the defense industry.
Experience working in Adobe Software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment with multiple deadlines.
Willingness to work overtime as needed to support project completion

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
