Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking an individual to support its supplier terms and conditions team with tasks related to the Southeast Material Acquisition Center (SEMAC). The position will provide support, advice, and counsel to SEMAC Subcontract Managers. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in federal acquisition and contract law with the ability to interpret FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations) to ensure compliance. React quickly to issues conveyed by both internal and external customers. Able to research U.S. federal, state, local laws quickly and thoroughly to provide compliance, liability, and business risk/opportunity advice.
Basic Qualifications:
-Completed Bachelors degree
-Ability to easily interface with senior corporate leadership.
- Experience negotiating supplier Terms and Conditions as well for the procurement of goods and services.
- Experience in defense industry supply chain organizations creating, managing, negotiating, and executing Purchase Orders and agreements
- Experience working in, or in close coordination with, a legal department.
Desired Skills:
- Juris Doctor from accredited law school
- Experience analyzing and interpreting FAR/DFARS Regulations.
- Experience in Supply chain creating, managing, negotiating and executing Purchase Orders
- Experience designing and implementing SOP (Standard Work Processes) to ensure compliance within required legal guidelines.

- Ability to work as a team member and to interact successfully with people at all levels within and outside of the organization, including in-house attorneys and business professionals.
-Must be a motivated self-starter who can energize and collaborate with the team, take immediate responsibility for terms and conditions drafting projects, supplier negotiations, and work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of work.
- In-depth understanding of subcontract management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with various procurements, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration.
- Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations.
- Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with supplier representatives. Responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives.
- Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance.
- Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
- May plan and participate in training of supply chain contract practices within Company.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $99,800 - $187,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $86,700 - $166,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
