PRIMARY FUNCTION

As a key member of the contracts and compliance team, the SBA Compliance Analyst is responsible for administering all aspects of 8(a) small business compliance for each of the applicable Yulista Holding subsidiaries.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Oversee SBA 8(a) compliance for all applicable entities including 8(a) applications, business plans, Certify.gov annual reporting, Mentor Protégé Joint Venture annual reporting, and all other SBA regulatory compliance matters.
  • Participate in strategic planning and offer guidance on formation of new entities and entrance into the 8(a) programs.
  • Maintain close liaison with counterparts in Business Development, Programs, and Subsidiary Leadership to ensure compliance across multiple subsidiaries.
  • Work closely with Legal staff to interpret, understand, and remain abreast of regulatory changes.
  • Work closely with subsidiaries to track NAICS, revenue, and other compliance criteria to monitor entity progression through the SBA 8(a) lifecycle.
  • Train junior-level staff on SBA compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Legal to establish new subsidiaries.
  • Track and renew subsidiary business licenses including but not limited to state, county, city, municipality. Acquire new business licenses as needed.
  • Oversee, maintain, and update SAM.gov entity registrations for each of the YHL subsidiaries.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to goals.
  • High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area such as business administration, government, political science, paralegal, etc.
  • Minimum of 6 years of prior relevant work experience managing an 8(a) portfolio.
  • Understanding of the Small Business Administration regulations and reporting requirements, specifically requirements for 8(a) Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance
