Raytheon Global Trade is looking for temporary support on our Authorization Records (AR) team within the Raytheon Legal Contracts & Compliance (LCC) organization. This organization plays a significant role in the successful execution of international business and facilitates compliance with Company policies and U.S. government regulations for global business transactions.
This temporary Global Trade Senior Analyst position provides exposure to and visibility into the field of export/import operations and its strategic impact on RAY success. This is a role critical to keeping RAY business compliant with the International Traffic and Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) authorization recordkeeping requirements.
Global Trade Senior Analysts are responsible for processing and managing U.S. export and import authorizations from the time of submittal to termination. The Analyst will closely collaborate with licensing professionals and compliance to mitigate business risk by allowing the Company to pursue international activity and meet financial targets while ensuring compliance with U.S. export/import laws and regulations and company policy.
This role will report to the Director, Record Management group.
What You Will Do
- Monitor submittal and approval statuses in various internal and external databases
- Support Raytheon Global Trade with set-up and activation of ITAR and EAR authorizations
- Validate authorization records data in Raytheon systems for compliance, accuracy, and completeness
- Monitor, process, and maintain authorization records to ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and U.S. regulatory requirements
- Identify and escalate recordkeeping issues to the Authorization Records Lead and/or Authorization Records Manager
- Generate and analyze reports to identify and mitigate regulatory and policy risks
- Support other Functions as necessary to facilitate job responsibilities
- Support preparation for audits and assessments and resulting corrective actions closures
- Represent and/or support Authorization Records team in meetings and discussions with internal customers
- Participate in RAY and Corporate Global Trade projects, as required
- Track export/import authorization record updates to facilitate briefings for organizational and functional leadership
Qualifications You Must Have.
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Previous experience working in the defense industry and application of both ITAR and EAR regulations
- Knowledge of key electronic tools RGEMS (Raytheon internal), SAP, ITCS, OCR, and DECCS
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Desire to develop knowledge of export/import requirements to support Authorization records and Global Trade compliance.
- Experience in working with multi-functional teams for compliance initiatives with an ability to drive issues to conclusions
- Strong attention to detail and follow through on assignments to achieve desired results
- Understand the necessity to meet all deadlines on a daily, monthly, and annual basis.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, able to work under time-sensitive circumstances, collaboratively or independently
- Able to prioritize and take initiative to address situations before issues arise.

This is a temporary position of undetermined length.
The salary range for this role is $33.65 to $68.26. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
