Introduction
Are you the Senior Business Analyst who is looking for a challenging role in an international environment who will play a central role in in revolutionizing the chain of booking, sales, accounting and delivery of our products processes for Air France-KLM, via the implementation of One Order? This program draws on a wide range of skills across the group to accelerate our transformation.
What are you going to do?
The program adopts IATAs "One Order" standard, an industry-led initiative intended to simplify the airline reservation, distribution, and accounting systems. This new standard combines the various booking and ticketing processes into one single order, taking customers’ travel experience to new heights.
This One Order approach increases efficiency and opens up new opportunities for innovation. It is a logical next step after the introduction of NDC (New Distribution Capability). The One Order approach program requires various competences across several departments, such as Commercial, Marketing, Finance, IT, etc. The departments involved will be working in the early stages of the One Order implementation across the airline industry, to enable Air France and KLM to benefit from the various advantages of this new technology.
- The teams activities cover the following aspects:
- Transition scenario(s) and associated schedules
- Detailed change approach plan and implementation
- Detailed business plan
- Coordination and alignment of business teams involved in the change
In general, as a senior business analyst, you cover the following areas of activity:
- Business needs analysis: identify and clarify the needs for transforming the business processes, needs related to the IT system and expected added value.
- Design of solutions: proposing pro-actively high-performance and robust innovations that take into account the existing IT system.
- Project management: in coordination with the business and IT teams, ensure the smooth running of evolution projects up to the implementation of the solution and support the business in the use of new features.
Where do you land?
You will be part of the amazing Distribution Department located in Amstelveen. Furthermore, you will be traveling on regular base to our colleagues in Paris and Valbonne (Nice).
Your profile
First of all: You have experience in project management and implementation of an IT project (Agile approach). You dare to go beyond the available information and look beyond the context of a problem. Furthermore, you have good analytical skills, and you are able to break down complex problems/issues into small pieces. You are able to play a coordinating role and manage all different kind of stakeholders. Taking initiatives to improve processes and application? You enjoy and thrive doing so by making use of your hands-on mentality and agile mindset. You are an expert in time management and are flexible and results oriented.
Further you have:
- A WO degree or intellectual ability
- At least 3 years of working experience as a Business Analyst or similar roles
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of and experience with Altea Reservation systems
- The capacity to thrive in a scale-up environment: adapt quickly, take ownership of your work
