To support this vision, we are currently searching for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Analysis Chapter. This role will suit someone who is naturally curious and prepared to get into the detail. There will be a level of ambiguity you will need to be comfortable with, coupled with complexity of the airline environment and the pace at which we work. Your desire to get the best outcome for our customers and business will help you define great outcomes, and you will have demonstrated you can work with various business stakeholders, building trust and partnerships across a wide group.

Our successful candidate: 

  • Has proven experience working in an Agile environment and working with external vendors.
  • Puts a customer lens on all that they do while balancing business needs.
  • Is great at spotting where theres potential to innovate and improve.
  • Can analyse complex applications, systems and/or processes across business and technical disciplines and can develop and implement solutions in a collaborative way.
  • Can partner with a range of other roles across Air New Zealand to determine requirements, support implementation of system and process changes, and resolve issues.
  • Can develop and maintain documentation for new and changes to existing applications/ systems/ processes to inform relevant technical teams and educate end users.
  • Has solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate their work clearly.
  • Has a unique balance of vision and pragmatism.
