Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking Program a Planning & Scheduling Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Sentinel program in the SDS Division. This position may be filled at a higher level based on qualifications listed below.
Roles and Responsibilities
- In this role, the successful candidate will coordinate, perform, and analyze schedule assessments across multiple segments and business units.
- Design and perform what-if cost and schedule scenarios to develop most beneficial outcomes to inform leadership for strategic decision points.
- Taking raw data, refining, and creating content for executive and senior leadership briefings.
- Ad hoc requests to support data calls of the Strategy and Planning leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance awarded or renewed in the last 6 years
- Must be able to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) with in scope clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
- Bachelors degree and 8 years of relevant experience, Masters degree with 6 years of experience, 4 years of experience with PhD; or 12 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
- Experience with project management and execution of a large complex program
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with evaluating megaproject complex schedules
- Project and Primavera scheduling tool user experience
- Ability to work in a high stress, quick turn environment
- Experience with preparing executive and senior leadership briefing content
- Experience with earned value management knowledge in a program management capacity

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Salary Range: $107,800 - $161,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
