The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) 777X program is seeking an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer to join the engineering team in Berkeley, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
• Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications
• Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
• Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
• Works under general supervision

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
• 2+ years’ experience performing stress analysis using both hand calculations and finite element tools

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Boeing Analysis Tools (Common Structures Workstation (CSW), Integrated Analysis System (IAS), CASTLE, PATRAN, NASTRAN)
• Experience working with aircraft stress analysis/structural analysis

Typical Education & Experience:

(Associate, Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $76,500 – 103,500
