Defense (THAAD) Global Supply Chain team is
looking for a passionate, detail-oriented
problem-solver to add to its Program Subcontracts team. As a Subcontract Manager (SCM), it will be your responsibility to facilitate the procurement cycle from beginning to end.

Develops subcontract specifications, work
statements, and terms and conditions for the
procurement of specialized materials,
equipment, and services for subcontracts in
support of development, production and global
sustainment for multiple contract types.
Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders
conferences, develops evaluation criteria,
analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates
subcontract provisions, selects or recommends
subcontractors, writes subcontract packages
for review, prepares awards and administers
resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and
coordinates additions, deletions, or
modifications to subcontracts. Participates with
contracts administration and purchasing to
develop subcontract policies and procedures.
Sign supplier agreements and purchase
orders within established authority.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in
a related discipline, or equivalent
experience/combined education. Entry level.
Functional environment and strives to make all
the pieces of the puzzle fit together to deliver
quality products on time to our customers. The
selected candidate will serve as the primary
liaison between Lockheed Martin and our
suppliers, communicating customer concerns,
expediting delivery schedules, and tracking
engineering revisions and material needs. As
an SCM, you will have authority to purchase
material on LM’s behalf, with occasional
expectation to place orders within short lead time. During procurement, you will be the
primary LM representative—issuing
solicitations, negotiating contract requirements,
and managing supplier performance. You will
regularly report supply chain metrics, risks, and
strategic opportunities to senior-level internal
customers. In addition, this position will offer
the selected candidate opportunities for travel,
personal development, a comprehensive

Associate to support the Terminal High Altitude
Area Defense (THAAD) Program within the
Supply Chain Management organization. The
position will support the procurement and
management of the direct material
requirements in support of the THAAD
program. Job responsibilities include the
development and maintenance of metrics, the
pursuit of deliveries from suppliers, and
assistance in the negotiation of subcontracts.
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in
a related discipline, or equivalent
experience/combined education. Entry level.
Ability to lead projects & teams to execute
Supply Chain subcontracts and sourcing
activities in an executing capacity as a
Purchasing agent/Buyer/Subcontract
Ability to make strategic decisions while
delivering results.
The candidate must be a US citizen.
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of SAP and/or Procure to
Pay (P2P)
Working knowledge of Procurement processes
including Lockheed Martin Material Acquisition
Procedures and FAR
Ability to multi-task
Strong communication skills

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
