Job Description:

Operating as a regional airline in the United States, Air Wisconsin Airlines performs flying services for American Airlines as American Eagle throughout the Midwest and East Coast, operating CRJ-200 regional jets. Our exceptional team is dedicated to making our travelers experiences safe and pleasant.

With general supervision from the Director of Corporate Quality Assurance, responsible for overall administration of aircraft technical data, to ensure the highest level of operational integrity and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Job Functions:

  • Promotes and fosters a safe and secure operating environment.
  • Distributes vendor technical data to applicable maintenance facilities.
  • Liaison with vendors for all phases related to technical documentation.
  • Maintains network library to current revision status.
  • Coordinates with Information Technology for the installation of technical publications in electronic format onto maintenance facility network.
  • Coordinates with Information Technology for vendor access to maintenance manual system and maintain vendor list.
  • Maintains, updates and publishes current manual list of all technical publications in electronic format.
  • Maintains, publishes and distributes Company-published data to include, but not limited to Maintenance Information Letters, manual supplements and Engineering Orders.
  • Maintains, publishes and distributes current logs of Temporary Revisions and AWA supplements to all technical publications.
  • Assists and acts as support back-up to the Technical Writer in editing and publishing company manuals.

Required Competencies:

  • A high level of judgment and initiative in coordinating implementation of departmental objectives.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Education & Experience:

Required:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Manual publishing applications and software.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Adobe FrameMaker and Adobe Acrobat.
