Aerostar Aircraft Corporation

Aerostar Aircraft Corporation (AAC), a Washington corporation formed in 1991 from the purchase of the Aerostar engineering design data, FAA Type Certificates, and manufacturing tooling from Piper Aircraft Corporation, Vero Beach, Florida. Since its formation, AAC has provided spare parts support and improvements to the existing Aerostar fleet, which currently numbers about 700 active aircraft. AAC’s highly talented engineering staff also provides the necessary support for continued operational safety issues, and, as required, service letters and bulletins to maintain the airworthiness of the Aerostar fleet. Aerostar Aircraft Corporation has obtained an FAA Production Certificate (FAA PC No. 702NM) providing manufacturing approval for all Aerostar parts and assemblies. In addition to supplying spare parts and product improvements to the fleet, AAC also has an aircraft refurbishment operation wherein the company purchases and resells used Aerostar aircraft. In this operation, good used aircraft are inspected and repaired as necessary, then the latest factory updates and options are installed along with new interior and paint.
